Empowering our fighters to live the best life possible.
WHO WE ARE
We are a nonprofit organization specializing in non-contact boxing and other tailored fitness programs designed to equip, challenge, and empower individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, early-stage Alzheimer’s/dementia, mild cognitive impairment, multiple sclerosis, or those recovering from a stroke. Our welcoming 8,000 sq. ft. space is designed to be accessible and supportive, providing a community-focused environment rather than a traditional gym setting.
WHAT WE DO
Using carefully crafted high-intensity workouts such
as non-contact boxing, movement classes, balance,
strength, and agility training, we seek to EMPOWER
our “fighters” to live the best life possible.
WHY IT MATTERS
We all know exercise is important! But for those living with progressive diseases like Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, other dementias, Mild Cognitive Impairment, or Multiple Sclerosis, research shows that specific and appropriate exercise can actually slow the progression of symptoms. Targeted exercise programs during post-stroke have shown improved functional outcomes as well.
OUR MISSION
Our mission at Day One Fitness is to partner with those fighting neurological conditions by equipping them to challenge their expectations and empowering them to lead the best life possible.
OUR GOAL
Our goal at Day One Fitness is to help improve the quality of life of those living with Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Multiple Sclerosis, post-stroke impairments and other neurological conditions.
